April has arrived at Performance School of the Arts promising a month full of exciting events! Our annual Spring Art Exhibition: “Spring Blossoms” is now on view in our Student Art Gallery. Stop by to finally let a little spring into your lives! This month we have added a second Georgia O’Keeffe Art Workshop date and will be offering a new Adult Art Workshop Series. We are now registering for our many Summer of Fine Arts Camp Programs and are looking forward to our 2014 Dance Recital and Variety Show coming up in June!
We would like to congratulate all of the students who performed at Piano NYSSMA this year. A special congratulations goes out to Joycelyn Vu for achieving a perfect score this year, as well as Jack Gartner, Sarah DeGenero, Jennifer Vu, Bradley Perritt and Deborah Hedley for successfully completing level 6 with high scores. We are so proud of all who participated!
We also send out congratulations to our Art Purchase Award winner, Madeline Mazzotta. Maddy’s painting will be hung in our school permanently for all to enjoy! Congratulations to our Honorable Mention winners as well, Pravara Alapati, Cara Duffy, Sean Walsh and Max Hoffman!

Georgia O’Keeffe Art Workshop - 2nd Date Offered!
Monday, April 7th 6:15-7:00pm
Since we have had an overwhelming number of people sign up for this workshop, we have added a 2nd date!
Georgia O'Keeffe was known for her stunning paintings of cropped and enlarged flowers. Join us for an amazing painting workshop where we will discover this remarkable artist and learn techniques to create our own original flower paintings.
To ensure we have enough art supplies on hand, please register with our front desk to participate by Saturday, April 5th.

New for Adults! Our new Adult Art Workshop Series will offer many fun opportunities for you to learn about famous and contemporary artists, techniques, materials and create original artwork to be proud of. All skill levels welcome!

Love Angelina Ballerina? Come and dance with this charming mouseling at her Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy Camp as we learn the fundamentals of ballet while having fun using the storyline of Angelina Ballerina through her books.
Want to create art like the Impressionist artists of the 19th century? At our "En Plein Air" Outdoor Art Camp experience drawing and painting the landscape outdoors in natural light, just as the Impressionist artists did in the 19th Century, using art materials such as acrylics, watercolors and pastels.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)
Join us June 14th for an exciting performance on an amazing stage at RPI in Troy, NY. Our students will come together on the big stage to show off what they have been learning in their individual classes. We will be celebrating student talents as well as highlighting the progress that they have made throughout the year. Ticket info coming soon!
