Spring is finally here and Performance School of the Arts is happy to announce a month filled with exciting events! We will be hosting a Ballroom and Latin Dance Workshop, a Woodwinds Workshop, our Annual Spring Art Exhibition, as well as our Spring Music Recital Series.
We would also like to congratulate all of the students who performed at Piano NYSSMA this year. A special congratulations goes out to Ife Adelugba and Jack Bold for achieving perfect scores this year, as well as Tim Saia, Yannai Arazi and Flora Wang for successfully completing level 6 with high scores. We are so proud of all who participated!
Before viewing all of the fun details on our April events below, we invite you to take a peek at a few photos of our 5th Annual Celtic Music Jam which was held in March. This always proves to be a fun night and this year was no exception! We'd like to extend a special thank you to Anthony Scisci for taking all of the beautiful photos.

Spring Music Recital Series

We look forward to sharing in our student's success as they perform at this year's Spring Music Recital Series April 19th-21st. If you haven't already done so, please sign up in person at the front desk to reserve the best times for your family. There will be a reception to follow each recital. Please let the front desk know if you can bring a snack or beverage to share.
Ballroom & Latin Dance Workshop
Monday, April 8th - 7:00pm
Join us as we discover smooth dances such as the Foxtrot, Waltz and Tango and rhythm dances such as the Mambo, Rumba and Cha-Cha. Dance Instructor Ginger Morris has trained & worked with Arthur Murray’s Ballroom School in Fairfield, CT and has danced with Valentin Chmerkovskiy of “Dancing with the Stars”.
Ages Teens & Adults. All levels welcome.

Woodwind Workshop
Tuesday, April 23rd - 3:45pm
Enjoy the talents of Professional Saxophonist and Woodwind Specialist, Ryan Sgroi with a private concert featuring jazz, classical and more. Demonstration and instrument history discussion to include saxophone, flute, clarinet, bassoon and oboe.

Annual Benefit Concert & Honors Recital

This year's Benefit Concert & Honors Recital will be raising money for student scholarships. Performance School of the Arts will be starting a scholarship fund for graduating seniors going onto higher education as well as for exceptionally gifted students participating in our fine arts program. Dance Recital: Dancing Through the Decades

Performance School of the Arts is proud to announce Dancing Through the Decades, a special performance where all of our dance students will come together on the big stage to show off what they have been learning in in their individual classes. Join us as we celebrate student talents as well as highlighting the progress that they have made throughout the year.
