Welcome to a fresh new School Year!
September is a time to reflect on all of the fun we had at our Summer Camps, in our private and group lessons this summer and to look ahead to all of the exciting opportunities that await us in the new school year. We look forward to an Open House, three different Parent & Child Workshops celebrating Dance and Art, Bring a Friend Week, our annual “Thriller” Dance Party and a Faculty Recital & Art Auction. Open House
Saturday, September 27th, 10am – 4pm
We are excited to announce that we will be holding an Open House at the school with special FREE workshops in music, dance, art and theatre, special fall treats, apple cider and other fun surprises! Friends and family are encouraged to participate. Please invite others to see all of the wonderful things our school has to offer.
Please sign up with the front desk in advance at (518) 383-5255 extension 5 to reserve a space in any workshops you would like to participate in; this helps us have enough supplies on hand. Workshop schedule coming soon!

Parent & Child Art Workshop :Wednesday, September 24th – 6:30pm
Join us in this fun opportunity for you and your child to learn new techniques, experiment with art materials and create original artwork together. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts and uncles are all welcome! All Ages! Free!
Parent & Child Dance Workshop: for 2 year olds

Come and explore the world of dance with your child at this fun workshop where you will bond with your child while learning new dance techniques and styles.
Dance Fitness Workshop: for parents & teens
Coming Soon!
Participate in a fun, upbeat workout that incorporates dance technique and strengthening & stretching exercises. Parents together with their Teens are welcome to join us for this FREE workshop. All levels welcome.
Student of the Month
Student of the Month is a fun program in which you can earn points in each of your individual lessons in Music, Dance, Theatre and Art. The students in each department with the most points will win a fun surprise at the end of each month. Every department has their own individual set of points. Click here for details!

Bring a Friend Week
We are excited to announce that October 6th – October 11th, 2013 is Bring a Friend Week at Performance School of the Arts! This is an opportunity for students to bring one friend into their lesson or class to share what they have been learning and to show them what our school has to offer. Details coming soon!
Annual “Thriller” Dance Party
October 24th – 7:30pm
Stayed tuned for details on an evening of thrills and chills! Learn the moves to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance. Candy and spooky surprises throughout the night. Door prize for the best costume. Family and friends welcome. Free!
Faculty Recital & Art Auction

We are excited to announce a very special Faculty Recital and Art Auction to be held on Sunday, October 26th at 4:00pm. You won’t want to miss this beautiful variety show which will emphasize all that we teach at our school in Music, Dance, Theatre and Art, as well as some of the favorite things our professional faculty enjoys performing and creating outside of school.
This event is also a special way for us to highlight our Student Scholarship Program intended for graduating seniors going onto higher education as well as for exceptionally gifted students participating in our fine arts program.
