Student of the Month
Recognizing hard work and dedication for
the month of August
Music: Roger & Amy Wang
From Roger: "My name is Roger Wang. When I was six I got interested in the song Hotel California. A couple of months later I sang Hotel California at a talent show. I had a lot of compliments. Then when I was seven I watched The Phantom of the Opera. I learned how to play "Phantom of the Opera". You might have heard me play "Phantom of the Opera" at a recital. I also sang "Go the Distance". Now I sing all sorts of songs with Candice. Piano and singing are great!"
From Amy: "My name is Amy Wang. I started piano when I was six and a half. Now I am eight. I started doing duets with Roger Wang. Our favorite musical show is Phantom of the Opera. I enjoy playing piano with Roger singing."
From Roger & Amy's Father: "Roger and Amy gave a family concert on daddy's birthday. They played a duet from, "My Heart Will Go On" and "The Phantom of the Opera". That was the best Birthday gift I ever received!"

From Miss. Jessica - Gabby's Art Teacher: Gabby is a bubbly student with many positive comments during our group art critiques. She is always practicing her techniques at-home and improving steadily. She is always willing to lend a hand and is a joy to have in class.
