Ehsan “Alessandro” Karimy is one of our newest music instructors, who came to us highly recommended by past employers. When asked the question what music means to him, his reply,

"Music for me is something divine. The music is in the universe, it is in nature. Humans discovered it, but it’s the language of God and of nature."

Alessandro started playing piano at the age of seven. His father was his first teacher for classical music. He later took lessons from his father’s teacher and later from a music school. The school was called “Sooreh,” in Persia. He also learned to play the santoor an early harpsichord, as well as the ney, an early flute. Alessandro began his teaching career at age eighteen. He has been teaching all levels of piano, band coaching, beginning voice and composition for nine years. His experience includes performer, composer and producer.

Alessandro graduated with a Bachelor’s in Classical Music and Piano, from the University of Applied Science in Persia. He also earned a Bachelor’s in Contemporary Music and Piano, from USCI in Malaysia, with Honors. Alessandro won First Place for two Original Composition competitions with Indaba Music. We are very glad to have him as a fitting new addition to the school.
